In 1966 Leif Birkballe purchased a agricultural holding in Thorsager for residence and working as a Smith. During that time he was also reparing agricultural machinery for people living close by + excavators for an entrepreneur in Thorsager. 1973 he was offered the dealership of Zetor tractors and at the same time Leif Birkballe started manufactoring showels for excavators. Sales was performed via nation-wide advertising.

In 1988 the newly founded investment-company LBB INVEST begins dealership of Agricultural machinery. The ownership of LBB INVEST is devided between Leif Birkballe and his (now adult) four children: Jeanette, Michael, Thomas and Michelle. The dealership of Deutz-Fahr is transfered to this company.
Come the 90s and the beginning of importing Rabe Soil Preparation machines directly from West Germany. Another 2 men are hired.

In 1991 Leif's oldest son Michael sees the end of his apprentice-ship in the company. Afterwards he's hired by Deutz-Denmark as a fitter, a job he has for six years. He's servicing Deutz industrial motors in Denmark aswell as abroad. Back at the Company he's a driving force in the workshop as well in planning the management.
In 1995 another 1000 m2 storage-facility is build. During the past time, we've succeeded in building an extensive sparepart-storagefacility for machines sold by either company, and - of course - for our own machinery, which involves agriculture.
In 1997 the staff reaches 4-5 journeymen, 2 apprentices, 1 economic/administrative employee and Leif Birkballe himself.
In the year 2000 Leif's son Thomas, is hiet by the Austrian company Pottinger, working as Head of Market for grass- and agriculture machines in Denmark.

In the recent years minitractors, Suzuki motorcykles, Thomas miniloaders etc. has been a substantial part of the future of both companies. Our import of other small machinery such as concrete-mixers is also helping to push both companies even wider on the market.

We're proud to aknowledge that our employees have proven to be very faithfull to the company; one employee have had his 25 years anniversary in 2002, four others have been here for more that 10 years.

To maintain the level of qualifications of our employees optimal, they continue to attend classes both domestic and abroad. This helps us to give our customers the best experience during temporarily suspended services. Further education is the key to keep running a succesfull business, so continuing education is important for both companies.
